From the sky above we currently absorb the influences of Jupiter in two “favorable” aspects - no matter how it might feel currently. Especially if “things” feel overwhelming, excessive and as if shifting priorities perpetually skew the importance of every moment in life. Jupiter in Taurus now inches away from a sextile to Saturn in Pisces. Concurrently, Mars in Capricorn, quick steps past his recent trine with Jupiter. Why doesn’t it feel easy?
So, here’s the deal, Mercury, the wing-foot messenger insists you pull out your walkie-talkie or whatever is your most expedient communication device, and get on with the communication agenda. Over slightly more than two weeks from now, Mercury in Capricorn, through one aspect or another intends to ring up all the gaseous giants, and Mars and the Sun and Sedna too. It’s time to make words work in your favor as expediently and efficiently as possible.
A thing about expedient communication... any words texted, posted or e-mailed depend upon the receiving party to complete the transaction. With something walkie-talkie-like in your hand or on our belt that your mind prioritizes as a device of “needs rapid reply” removes delay. With delay gone, action can resume based upon the clear exchange, exactly as Mars and Mercury in Capricorn indicate is ideal. The same is true with apps. Define what works, what can be enhanced and what cannot, then determine dispositions for those moving parts. Stay on each and every task until completed. Lose no needed oversight; shun no responsibility.
18 January - Mercury trine Jupiter in Taurus
Spend the first part of the day defining what you have on hand, what you need on hand and then, how to go about getting everything not yet on hand. Great day to prep your taxes for the year, file paperwork and execute any agreements or communications essential to a productive flow ahead. If a person does not reply to your output, repeat as necessary until you get the required reply.
20 January - Sun conjunct Pluto at 29 Capricorn 59 into Aquarius, trine Sedna
Now, if the required reply received with Mercury to Jupiter perhaps got a bit out of proportion, especially if reiteration was required, and did not suit your fancy or enable your priorities, take time out for an emotional reset. Clear your reactions. If another person replied they are not up to the task or will not do what you asked, then know there is a reason. That reason, truly, is irrelevant to your purposes. Life now becomes a matter of resetting and seeking an option or person to fulfill your request, and perhaps even in a more efficient and competent manner. Assume that there is a cosmic clock and a cosmic flow. You ticked the choice boxes you did, and others do the same. Find replacements for persons and things defined as not contributing and keep your groove going without frustration.

While you might feel a bit like the cartoon character the Tasmanian Devil, you control the switches you flick during the swirling vortex of life. Be clear. Constantly refresh your grandest objective for your own benefit. Reiterate as necessary and be impeccable about the process of delegation. Assess the competence of those in your world and engage with appropriate and deserved regard and respect.
28 January - Mercury trine Uranus in Taurus
This is the tracking of unexpected sources and circumstances. You never know what response you might get until you put it out there fully, clearly and with full disclosure of your personal reason you are so engaged. Bear in mind others may not know how to respond to such a proclamation. Your task is simply to realize that those that stick around are good to go. Those who walk away do not need to be pursued. Those who linger on the periphery also do not need to be pursued. They will either engage with you and your objectives on time or they will not. Favor those persons and situations you did not anticipate on your horizon and are here now.

This is a transit to recognize where you stand largely depends upon the decisions you have made. This presents great news if you like where you are... and not as great news if you’re not as far along as you thought you might be. Work to be clear of your choices. Remain conscious of all things you decided and why you elected to include those you did. Now, if improved circumstances are demanded by your psyche, then choose to get on with the creation of needed fixes. When done, feed yourself well. Kick back and absorb the benefit of the expenditure of your energy to tasks at hand.
04 February - Mercury conjunct Pluto in Aquarius
Not only has Mercury hopped into the next sign, with the engagement with Pluto a rich mythological lore spins context. Truly, Jupiter enlisted the messenger to do his bidding and repeat verbatim directives that Jupiter declared in the interest of fulfilling his agenda, even if that agenda was punitive. Pluto gave Mercury a hall pass. Like immunity, Pluto waved Mercury through secure gates as a matter of course... with only one contingency: Always tell the truth - to yourself that is. Pluto demands clarity of motivation. Pluto insists that subconscious baggage be left in a holding area prior to entry. He encourages Mercury not to retrieve said baggage. With the subconscious shed, Pluto urges Mercury to hone in on the soulful motivation behind everything that creeps into the mind, becomes uttered and is executed as life steps one determines to be essential. Here, in Aquarius, Pluto encourages Mercury to be the town cryer. Shout to the nation... to the world. Shout from the rooftops. Things want to get better and here’s why!
Polish up those favorite methods of reaching out to others for full and satisfactory communication. Realize an e-mail without required response is not communication. Assume no fan base to be cosmic authority. Clarify how it feels to engage the gaseous big guys and note the exhilaration of using each and every Mercury-based transit with the fullest of declaration and the most impeccable intention.
